Ingredients
  

Fish

  • 4 fillets tilapia 6 ounces each

Seasonings

  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Sauce

  • 4 Tablespoons salted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley minced

Cooking Instructions

  • Season the fillets with salt and pepper. Arrange in a single layer in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, garlic, paprika, onion powder, and crushed red pepper flakes. Heat until the butter is melted.
  • Stir in lemon juice, then pour the sauce evenly over the fish in the pan. Arrange lemon slices over the top.
  • Bake at 400°F for 12-15 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 145°F and fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

Leftover baked tilapia can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. To reheat, bake in the oven at 350°F, covered with foil to avoid drying it out, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
