  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 stalk celery finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon red onion finely minced

  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon dried dill weed
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Drain the canned salmon well and place it in a medium bowl. Flake the salmon using a fork.
  • Add the mayonnaise, chopped celery, minced red onion, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and dried dill weed to the bowl.
  • Mix all ingredients together until they are just combined and creamy. Do not overmix.
  • Season the salad with salt and pepper to your preference.
  • Serve immediately or chill for 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For a lower-fat option, substitute half of the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt. Serve this salad inside lettuce cups for a low-carb meal. Add 1 tablespoon of sweet pickle relish for a different flavor profile.
