Equipment

  • Grill
  • bowl
  • shallow dish or resealable plastic bag

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets salmon
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 whole lemon juiced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a big bowl, mix ¼ cup olive oil, ¼ cup soy sauce, ¼ cup Dijon mustard, ¼ cup brown sugar, juice of 1 lemon, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, 1 teaspoon black pepper, and ½ teaspoon salt. Stir well.
  • Put 4 salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, making sure each piece is covered. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with oil to prevent sticking.
  • Take the salmon out of the marinade and place it on the grill. Grill each side for 4-5 minutes, or until cooked through and the internal temperature is 145°F.
  • Serve with rice corn and roasted asparagus.

Notes

Remember to leave some space between the salmon fillets on the grill so they cook evenly. Make sure to remove any small bones from the salmon fillets before marinating. Always marinate the salmon in the refrigerator to keep it fresh and safe.
